ALL of these poster graffiti artist in LA have one thing in common. A certain humility about them. The art work is odd and abstract yet attractive in an urban feel kind of way. You cant help but stare. They don't put a street name which they go by or a gang they promote. Not a phone number or even a calling card. In the depth of night or even the mid of day, these "law breakers" get up and post. Spreading their art work and love throughout the streets Los Angeles. True, it may against the law but so is not wearing your seat belt. But we do it anyways because some times it feels good not bound to your seat. We have the freedom and movement to do things we may have not been able to do while buckled down. These men (or women) do this for thrill and enjoyment. To see their hard work fill the streets of LA with people starring in awe or maybe even in shock. Yet they don't have a famous name nor credibility for this work. They do this simply for the enjoyment. Simply for the love.
I dedicate this post to all those who do what they love. Going against mainstream society of what is believed to be "right" but rather following their heart and waking up everyday happy and content.
I'm so proud of you. Great job, pops!
